Samsung Galaxy Beam, smartphone with projectors



Samsung seemed want to shake the event Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2012 in Barcelona, Spain, by introducing the Galaxy Beam, a smartphone that is equipped with a projector high definition (HD).

Quoted from the official website of Samsung Mobile Press, Galaxy Beam fixed to 1 GHz dual core processor, 4-inch landscape display WVGA 480x800 pixel resolution, 8 GB of internal memory, 2000 mAh battery, and runs the Android operating system 2.3 (Gingerbread).

This smartphone is equipped with a 5MP camera with LED flash and front camera 1.3 MP.

For connectivity, there is a MicroSD slot (up to 32GB), MicroUSB, 3.5 mm audiojack, Bluetooth, 3G HSPA, and Wi-Fi for internet connection.

Galaxy Beam dimensions are 64.2 x 124 mm with a thickness of 12.5 mm and weights 145.3 grams.

Galaxy Beam at the latest to be launched at MWC 2012, the projector is placed at the top and can emit a light beam up to 50 inches wide at 15 lumens. Samsung states parties, the user can display photos, videos and games using a special application from Samsung.

Despite Samsung's  bring the projectors technology, but the latest hardware specifications Galaxy Beam is judged not too impressive for a smartphone that  was launched on the world's largest mobile stage, MWC 2012, which was held on last February 27 until March 1 .

This product is actually not the first smartphone from Samsung which have a projectors. In mid-2010, Samsung had introduced the Galaxy Beam i8520 measuring 3.7inches and runs the Android 2.1
